DEED FACTSParking on the streets is prohibited. Please ensure that your family and guests park in the driveway. If they can park without blocking the sidewalk, that’s a considerate thing to do. PLEASE DO NOT park in the cul de sacs. Emergency personnel must be able to maneuver their equipment on the street.
Boats and trailers cannot be parked outside over night. Additionally, they cannot be parked on the street. Please park them in your garage or make arrangements to park them off-site. The parking lot at the Sports Center can be utilized for short periods (1-2 days.). Please contact the lodge for specific information.
Please remember that removing a tree from the front yard requires permission. Please contact the lodge for specifics, but it is generally okay as long as you are replacing the trees in a timely manner and that you have two trees in the front yard and two trees in the remaining lot as specified in the restrictions.
Installing a satellite dish, play set or other outdoor type equipment (trampolines, basketball goals, etc.) requires approval from the architectural committee. You must submit an application for approval prior to the start of construction. Applications are available for pickup at the lodge and can be emailed or faxed to you.
Any type of fence must be approved by the architectural committee. Additionally you must submit an application prior to the start of construction.
The posting of any signs (with the exception of for sale and/or open house) is prohibited. Please do not allow contractor’s to post signs in your yard. Only one sign is allowed when selling a house.
It takes an entire community working together to make it all work. Thanks for your compliance and cooperation. -
MAILBOX STANDARDSThe OCCA Board met last month and revised the mailbox standards in an effort to bring more uniformity to the neighborhood. We are pleased to include a copy of the standards in this newsletter for your review. Please include a copy with your Deed Restrictions for easy reference. If you need a copy of the Deed Restrictions, please contact the lodge for a copy.
Please take a minute to review your mailbox. If it is wooden, please check the paint. If it is starting to peel and/or fade, please have it painted. If you have adhesive type sticker numbers, please remove and replace with brass numbers. If it has foliage around the numbers, please remove.
The community has spent many hours on mailboxes and we appreciate everyone cooperation in keeping our community beautiful.
